Digital Design and Fabrication Certificate

About the Program

The Digital Design and Fabrication Certificate is a grouping of specialized courses designed to give students credentials and applied expertise in design ideation, fabrication processes and product realization to enhance creative careers in the rapidly expanding field of digital three-dimensional design modeling for additive and subtractive manufacturing processes.

Program Requirements

Required: Two Foundations Courses (6 credit hours)
DES 108 DIGITAL DESIGN AND FABRICATION 3
DES 338 COMPUTER THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING AND RENDERING 3

Required: Specialized Course (3 credit hours) choose one
AED 398 ART, SOCIETY AND NEW MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES FOR ART EDUCATORS 3
FTT 451 SENIOR PROJECT 3
TEC 314 ELECTROMECHANICS 3

Required: Capstone Course (3 credit hours)
