Thought At Work is a student-run three-day design conference hosted at Rochester Institute of Technology, in
Rochester, New York. It bridges the gap between the academic and professional worlds by providing a platform to collaborate, learn and network. This conference is beneficial for students in industrial design, graphic design, new media design, web design, and film of all levels. Events during the weekend include lectures and workshops from industry professionals, a sketch-off, design challenges, and portfolio reviews, and so much more.
This year, the conference will take place October 21st-23rd.

Eric Gotroff, a project architect at CannonDesign, has generously volunteered to give the students a tour of the new science building on campus. Any Interior Design student that would like to attend can join us. The tour is scheduled for March 10th at 9am. We will meet at 8:50 in the freshman studio.
Eric is going to focus on how interior details on paper transform into a built environment. I am going to try to bring in some of the interior detailing sheets prior to the tour and leave in 206 for anyone who'd like to view them ahead of the tour.
Please join us on 3.10.16 from 5PM-7PM to celebrate student work curated for the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) site visit. Please RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 716-878-5252
